DIAGONAP
|
|
DIAGONAP, a laminate reinforcement, is made up of stacked layers that are mechanically bonded. It provides mechanical strength to + / - 45? to the longitudinal axis. It has mechanical characteristics oriented at 0?, 90?, 0? and 90?. It can also be assembled with a layer of chopped glass fibers (mat without chemical binding) or with a glass fiber veil. This product can be made of glass, aramid, carbon, or a combination of fibers.
ADVANTAGES
Improved equitension of fiber reinforcements
Optimizing reinforcement orientation
High glass content:
??igh mechanical performances
??educes weight
Increasing torsional strength
??roduct symmetry (reversibility) or layers can be varied by position and number
Mechanical strength isotropy
??lat and homogeneous threads
??ess marking on gelcoat
Good draping, ease of installation and impregnation
??ewer layers
??educes labor costs
Variable weight depending on construction:
Layers:
??iaxial : 300 g/m? to 1600 g/m?
??riaxial : 500 g/m? to 2000 g/m?
??uadriaxial : 600 g/m? to 2400 g/m?
Width: 120 cm - sub-multiples (see limits depending on type)
