Paint additives & crosslinkers
Paint additives are used in small amounts to fine-tune properties, such as particle size (dispersing agents), wetting and leveling (wetting agent), foaming (defoamers) and film formation (coalescing agents). Cross-linkers are added to effectively increase cross-link density in cured industrial coatings to improve properties, such as chemical-, scratch- and abrasion resistance. Perstorp offer a great number of products, like:
NX795 and NX800 are effective and versatile coalescing agents for waterborne dispersion paints. They have low odor and comply with VOC regulations
Capa™ Polyols can be used as effective cross-linkers in combination with a variety of cross-linking chemistry, such as isocyanates (polyurethanes) and melamines. In standard formulations properties, such as abrasion resistance, flexibility, impact resistance, outdoor durability and self healing, can be considerably be improved |
