X-Rite To Demonstrate Advanced Colour Measurement Technologies for Plastics Manufacturers at Interplas 2011

7/19/2011

Taking place at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham from 27th to 29th September, the Interplas 2011 show will see X-Rite Europe GmbH presenting advanced colour measurement and control technology that can be integrated into the everyday workflow of plastic product manufacturers. X-Rite's colour management solutions will enable the manufacturer to communicate accurately on colour data between plants around the world, reduce waste and scrap, and improve quality.

At booth A29 X-Rite representatives will demonstrate integrated workflow solutions for plastics manufacturers in the automotive, durable and small appliance, office furniture and home improvement industries. The demonstrations will show how X-Rite's solutions allow users to precisely control the colour of their products.

The company will be demonstrating the versatility of its VeriColor® Spectro instrument for in-line colour measurement, its Color i7 benchtop spectrophotometer that can handle all opacity levels of plastics samples, the Color iMatch software for formulating plastics, and the SP64 handheld spherical spectrophotometer that provides fast and accurate colour measurement of plastics.

Other technologies highlighted at the show will include the MA98® spectrophotometer enhanced by the X-Color QC software that accurately measures special effect colours that are popular with consumers.

In addition, X-Rite representatives will be showing the new NetProfiler 3 package that allows companies to adjust and certify the performance of their spectrophotometers remotely, ensuring accurate and reliable colour data is used throughout the supply chain. To tap into the rapid growth of mobile computing, NetProfiler 3 extends the power of profiling to handheld devices with embedded profiling capabilities.

To complete its integrated workflow solutions on display, X-Rite will demonstrate the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test that is used by companies to determine if their employees have appropriate colour vision for their responsibilities, and the Judge Light Booth that precisely simulates the illumination conditions under which finished products are viewed by end users.
