ATEMAG AG to unveil its aptly named solution ATEMAG CONTROL 4.0

5/13/2015

After blazing a trail through HANNOVER MESSE, Industry 4.0 is now set to make a big impression at the world's leading trade fair for forestry and the woodworking industry. Indeed, many of this year's exhibitors at LIGNA are also showcasing the benefits and advantages of digitally networked production factors. One of the "digital pioneers" in the wood processing industry is ATEMAG AG, an innovative independent company that develops, produces and markets high-performance cutting aggregates for CNC machining centers. The company, based in Baden-Wuerttemberg, is coming to Hannover to unveil its aptly named solution ATEMAG CONTROL 4.0.

ATEMAG CONTROL 4.0 helps customers use their aggregates to optimize production processes, call up all the important information about each individual aggregate using a dedicated smartphone app and thus monitor the status of their aggregates at a glance. Besides standard information - such as the aggregate designation, its serial number, production date and firmware - users can also check the current speed, temperature and production time of the specific aggregate at a glance and on the go. What's more, ATEMAG CONTROL 4.0 uses a database to store the accumulated running time, the number of uses and the maximum temperature and speed achieved. The advantage for plant operators is that they can evaluate the running times of gearing parts and their storage with a single click and plan maintenance cycles accordingly.
