The Association of Russian Automakers, nonprofit partnership has been founded by leading automobile manufacturers in Russia: AvtoVAZ OAO, KAMAZ OAO, GAZ Group OOO (until 2006 - RusPromAuto) and Sollers OAO (before 2008, Severstal-Auto OAO).
The structure of OAR consists of 9 full and 4 associate members.
The enterprises belonging to OAR manufacture more than 70% of motor vehicles and nearly 100% of automobile engines in Russia.
OAR is a member of the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA), which consists of 42 national association of automobile manufacturers in Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Australia. |
