Japan Industries Association of Radiological Systems (JIRA) was founded to contribute to the sound development of the radiological systems industries and people's health and welfare, by standardization, quality and safety assurance, and technological improvements of medical radiological systems, related equipment and accessories. The membership includes about 176 Japanese and foreign companies involved in the manufacture, import and sales of medical radiological systems and related products. JIRA has several divisions that are positively engaged in related activities, including international cooperation.
