Palais des Expositions des Pins Maritimes is the host of Batimatec and the main venue for trade exhibitions in Algeria. SAFEX (Societe Algerienne des Foires et Exportations) is the state company responsible for the management of this Exhibition Centre in Algiers.
The Exhibition Centre is located next to the motorway, 3km from Algiers ' international airport and 10km from the city centre. The site spans an area of 68 hectares, with 46,960 m2 of covered exhibition space and 25,000 m2 of outdoor exhibition space. Several conference rooms are also available on site (to host up to 400 people).
Other facilities at the Exhibition Centre include a bank, restaurants, bars, visitor parking for 5,000 vehicles and exhibitor parking for 2,000 vehicles.
