The Institute of Mining Engineers of Peru (the Instituto de Ingenieros de Minas del Peru, IIMP) is a private non-profit association that has for 66 years had the mission of contributing to professional development by informing those directly involved and society in general of mining technology, the diverse topics relating to the sector, and best operating practices.

The IIMP joins forces with numerous private and public organizations to contribute to spreading mining development in Peru, in order to generate sustainable development for the country. A further objective is to promote and organize activities that foster the professional and technological development of our associates and third parties in mining-related topics.
