BI-POWER TWO-PLATEN CLAMPING PRESSES
|
|
Small, compact injection moulding machine: thanks to its 2-platen closing system and 2-cylinder injection assembly the design is smaller than on an in-line injection unit .
This particular press range allows the installation of moulds of various size and weight. Moreover, the IMM can easily be adapted to meet mould opening stroke requirements.
The press is equipped with an integrated, modular system with variable-delivery pumps and an inverter with vector control on plasticizing screw rotation to provide optimal overlap performance on three essential movements (screw rotation, mould movements and ejection or core movements). Full movement performance is maintained even during overlapping (shorter cycle times, improved energy efficiency).
The automatic tie bar removal system is an option that provides much-needed flexibility where mould changes are carried out under difficult conditions, such as with a low ceilings, bulky moulds, etc. (management).
High-rigidity platens and wide guides on the sides of the mobile plate provide increased control of the parallelism between the mobile and fixed plates and, consequently, the mould: the result is less wear on the moulds and greater closing accuracy (reliability, precision).
The slide area of the machine bed on which the moving platen runs is made of hardened steel to maximise alignment and parallelism. |
