Bioplastics

Bioplastics are derived from renewable biomass sources and provide a sustainable alternative to fossil fuel plastics which are derived from petroleum. Some, but not all, bioplastics are designed to biodegrade.
Bioplastics can be used in a broad range of applications. Despite popular belief, they aren''t limited to molded plastic products:
they can also be used in textiles, foams and films.
