Jomar Corporation Introduces "CR" Series of Injection Blow Molding Machines for Conventional Resins

5/4/2012

PLEASANTVILLE, NJ--(Marketwire - May 1, 2012) - In response to less processing of engineering resins on injection blow molding machinery, Jomar Corporation has developed a new "CR" series specifically for processing conventional resins, such as HDPE, LDPE, PP, PS, and other standard grades. These CR versions are available specifically in Jomar's Model 40 and Model 65 range, two sizes that are very popular within emerging markets. The CR machines are ideal for production of dropper, roll-on, pharmaceutical, and healthcare bottles.

According to William A. Petrino, President of Jomar, "As I travel more and more around the world, I see less PET, PVC, Barex, Polycarbonates, and other engineering resins being processed on IBM machines. So, Jomar is putting a new emphasis on conventional resins, because we see this market need. Why should those who only work with standard grades pay more for a machine loaded with equipment they will never use• A CR machine represents potential savings of $15,000 to those who are only working with conventional resins."

Jomar customers who do use engineering resins, or foresee using them in the future, can still purchase the standard Model 40 or 65 machines.

Petrino adds, "Because capital investment is a huge determining factor in purchasing any type of machine, the kind of savings that the new CR machines offer could be a game changer."

Jomar is a global manufacturer of injection blow molding machinery for the pharmaceutical, health care, personal care, beauty, food, beverage and household products markets. The company manufactures injection blow molding machinery in capacities from 20 tons up to 175 tons. Jomar engineering services help customers design both products and molds, including turnkey systems. The company also offers refurbishment of older Jomar machines.
