KUKA wins major order from Daimler

Customer opts for KUKA Systems' innovative application of adhesives and sealants
In the second quarter, KUKA Systems has received orders from Daimler AG for
• automated systems components for the application of adhesives to automotive (Hohlraumkonservierung an Automobilen (HRK)) and
• innovative automation application of sealants in the automotive sector (Spritzbare Akustikdämmmasse (SAM)).
KUKA Systems unveiled the technology to the public only recently and has now already received the first major order.
Both technologies were developed in-house by KUKA and feature an impressive degree of environmental and workplace friendliness. Dr. Till Reuter, CEO of KUKA AG, commends the developments.
