Today is an important day for 3D printing and rapid prototyping. Why? Because today we launched our new Objet260 Connex multi-material 3D printer. What's so special about it? Well, first of all it's multi-material. And second, it multi-material! But also, it's now available in a compact form size (build tray of 260 x 260 x 200mm), with a very attractive price tag.
The Objet260 Connex uses the world's only technology that's able to simultaneously jet 2 materials. By jetting 2 materials together, you can produce up to 12 different composite materials and designate them to the various parts within your 3D model to achieve what we call 'true-product realism' - the true appearance of assembled products or off-the-shelf goods.
This makes the Objet260 Connex the ultimate rapid prototyping tool for designers, engineers and manufacturers everywhere who need to accurately convey how their product designs will look, feel and function in reality. Here a short film showing you the enormous advantage that mutli-material 3D printing can convey to your design prototyping (some of the models featured here are truly incredible). Enjoy. |
