"In the manufacturing sector in which many of our customers operate, new developments are underway that are being described by many as the fourth Industrial Revolution. The goal of this revolution is to bring together the high output numbers seen in the assembly chain with the tailor-made value of artisan production. In a world in which those who offer quality and a personalised touch at increasingly low prices come out on top, factories are turning digital: machines communicate amongst themselves via automation systems and dialogue software , and are able to ‘imagine' and simulate construction of a product, as well as testing it, all before having actually produced it" - this is the comment made by Raphaël Prati, the Director of Marketing and Communications for Biesse Group, on the occasion of the Ligna Preview 2015, a meeting between companies exhibiting at the important trade fair and international press from the sector.
"Biesse Group places itself firmly at the service of this fourth Industrial Revolution, developing new high-performance solutions for the creation of ‘digital' factories 4.0". The bSuite package is an example of this, a coordinated collection of established software characterised by its peerless quick setup and ease of use which allows anyone to access the most cutting-edge technology available on the market. bSuite allows users to design, simulate production, programme machines automatically and monitor production with ease, significantly cutting design time.
"We are the protagonists of this fourth Industrial Revolution in the machining operations equipment sector, thanks to the large integrated systems that we supply to the biggest names in furniture production in the world, and also to our automation systems for small and medium-sized woodworking companies. These solutions can multiply and enhance machine and system performance, guaranteeing manufacturing flexibility allowing for the production of customised goods with reduced lead times and increased economic profitability". The pride of automation technologies is the range of Winstore automatic magazines for the optimised management of panels, no longer just the preserve of large industries, but now
increasingly accessible to small and medium-sized businesses that want to increase their competitiveness. Winstore can be integrated into cutting centres and nesting cells, guaranteeing a significant increase in productivity. And it is on the occasion of Ligna 2015 that Biesse Group will show its customers how they can make the most of the opportunities this fourth Industrial Revolution brings, based on an innovative platform which goes beyond simply improving the product, but also has a positive effect on the entire production process.
More than 3700 m2 of exhibition space will allow visitors to see the large integrated systems up close, 30 machines for working panels and solid wood and new software modules which can simplify the management of even the most complex and advanced technological solutions:solutions which allow our customers to work more economically, in small batches, with lower machining times, whilst improving the quality and quantity of their products. |
