- named industry's preferred equipment supplier and honored for industry-leading HyPET® HPP5
BOLTON, Ontario - Husky Injection Molding Systems wrapped up its lead sponsorship at PETnology and appearance at BrauBeviale last week with impressive award wins. Husky has been recognized by PETplanet as being the industry's preferred equipment supplier, delivering the most value to customers in the PET machinery market. The awards come after PETplanet surveyed 1,000 people from 334 companies in the plastics industry, and also recognized Husky as providing the best global after sales service. In addition, Husky's HyPET® HPP5 was honored with a World Beverage Innovation award from FoodBev Media, winning in the Best Manufacturing category. The World Beverage Innovation Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the global beverage industry, and were presented in a ceremony at BrauBeviale in Nuremberg, Germany.
The 17th PETnology conference was an innovative symposium looking at the world of beverages and how PET packaging, technologies and closures are responding to consumer trends and market challenges. It also presented the latest innovations in PET machinery, processing, blowing, filling and packing equipment, and focused on environmental developments in PET recycling technologies, sustainability and renewable resources for polyester materials. Nicolas Rivollet, Husky's Director of Business Development, made a presentation on Husky's soon to be launched barrier solutions; a new high performance, multi-layer module for the HyPET® HPP5 platform that offers up to 50% savings on barrier material costs. With the high performance barrier module, Husky offers customers fully integrated injection molding solutions with the highest capability, delivering exact amounts of barrier material to attain the target package shelf life. Cosimo Carroccia, Husky's Business Advisor for Western Europe, also conducted a workshop at PETnology covering machine asset lifecycle planning and investing in replacement.
"We are thrilled to have been honored with the World Beverage Innovation award for Best Manufacturing for our HyPET® HPP5 system. We are always innovating and developing enhancements to our systems, and are pleased to now be launching superior co-injection barrier solutions with HyPET® HPP5," said Nicolas Rivollet, Husky's Director of Business Development. "The enabling technologies in HyPET® HPP5, including our new barrier solutions, are an example of how we deliver exceptional performance and reliability to our customers. This supports their growth and lowers production costs, while ensuring packages manufactured on Husky equipment offer the industry's most consistent performance, on production lines and in the hands of consumers. We provide the capacity to deliver the lowest total cost of production, while maintaining preform quality and enhancing package safety and security."
BrauBeviale, a trade fair for the production and marketing of beverages, had over 1,100 international exhibitors presenting products, solutions, and trends for the production of beer, water, non-alcoholic drinks, wine, and liquid dairy beverages. Covering the entire process chain of beverage production, BrauBeviale was a creative arena for enterprises in the beverage space to share innovative ideas and trends in development, and welcomed nearly 37,000 attendees.
"Being named the preferred equipment supplier in the industry, and being recognized for our exceptional after sales service is a huge win for Husky," said John Galt, Husky's President and CEO. "We pride ourselves on offering the highest levels of service to our customers, and are always looking for new ways to help them grow their business. Our investments in service are part of our commitment to ensuring that the full capability of Husky equipment is realized over the entire lifecycle of the investment."
Husky holds the leading market share of high-volume PET preform and closure manufacturing equipment. Serving the industry for more than 35 years, its preform injection molding systems deliver the industry's lowest total production costs for the widest range of application and capacity needs. |
