The Brazilian Foundry Association - ABIFA was founded on April 25, 1969, within the premises of the Tupy foundry in São Paulo, by a small group of entrepreneurs. Today ABIFA represents the foundry segment together with the various public sector, the commitment that initially clung only to the technological development of foundry companies was expanded with a national presence, emphasizing political, economic and social order of the defense industry, as well as the commercial development of the same.
