Tire production and sales in China have ranked first in the world. Among the top 75 world tire sellers, there are 21 Chinese companies, 16 companies in China mainland, with a sales income of $5.246 billion. Today, China is the third largest auto producer and the second auto consumer in the world. It is estimated that China 's auto holding number will reach 62 million by 2010. Some specialists predict that, with continuous increase of auto holding number in China , China will become a world big tire consumer country, which shows that China 's auto tire market owns a huge development room and is full of infinite business opportunities. Under such a market background, world 10 top tire producers, including Michelin, had entered China market in 2005 and performed a ''battle of expanding tire production capacity''.
This exhibition is a state-level international trade one approved by the Ministry of Commerce according to the principle of ''professionalization, internationalization and brand''. Sponsored by Enterprise Association of China for Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and FCE Exhibition Company, co-sponsored by many domestic and overseas units, it gets government support while it has sector authoritative personnel to participate.
